Ten years of Tisza Automotive

In 2024, we are celebrating the tenth anniversary of our company, as the first Tisza Automotive factory was opened in 2014, when the production of automotive wiring harnesses began. Over the past ten years, our company has become one of the largest employers in the Tisa region, and the name Tisza Automotive has become synonymous with stability, continuity, and development. Below, we look back on this period, reveal the secret of our growth and success, and share some insights about the future.

A brief history of the company 


The first Tisza Automotive plant was opened in Senta in September 2014. The company specializes in the production of automotive wiring harnesses that are installed in vehicles of globally recognized brands such as Volvo.

After the start of operations, the company very quickly proved its ability to compete on the market and meet the high quality standards of the automotive industry. Accordingly, orders steadily increased, which also led to a rise in the number of employees. As a result, in 2017 we opened our second factory in Bečej, followed by another one in Kikinda in 2019.

Today, we employ approximately 2,500 people across these three locations. In our operations, we pay special attention to environmental protection and implement numerous measures aimed at minimizing our ecological footprint.

Focus on people

From the very first day, we have placed special emphasis on caring for our employees, guided by our belief that it is most important for our workers to spend their working hours in the most pleasant possible atmosphere. In this spirit, we have introduced numerous measures, partly based on employee suggestions. 
One such measure is playing music during working hours in all of our production plants, contributing to a more relaxed atmosphere. In addition, colleagues from the Human Resources department are regularly present in the production facilities and strive to find quick and effective solutions to any issues that arise.

Tisza Automotive also places great importance on employee development. To this end, we recently launched our career development program, within which employees can nominate colleagues they believe have potential, as well as nominate themselves. Based on these nominations, a defined career path is created for selected colleagues.

Teamwork and socializing outside the workplace are also important to the company’s management, which is why we organize numerous programs of this kind.

The most significant of these is the Tisza Picnic, which was organized for the first time last year. On that occasion, more than a thousand employees spent a pleasant day together, participating in cooking competitions and various sports activities.

In addition, we offer benefits such as private pension insurance, which we provide free of charge to our employees, enabling them to receive additional income alongside the state pension upon retirement. We also operate the Mama-baby program, under which every pregnant employee receives a one-time financial allowance.

Plans for the future


The first ten years are behind us, but our company continues to have ambitious development plans. Over the past period, Tisza Automotive has become synonymous with stability and high-quality performance, and one of our future goals is further expansion of our capacities. This will enable us to offer career development opportunities to an even greater number of employees and provide livelihood and stability to even more families across Vojvodina.

Our vision is for Tisza Automotive to remain one of the leading employers in the region in the years to come, recognized for quality, stability, and care for employees.
